Conceived in collaboration with Academy Award winning composer Giorgio Moroder, it marked the first new Italian sports car marque in more than twenty five years.

La Jetée Press was born out of frustration. Founder Tom Harris, a lifelong aviation enthusiast, felt that most aviation books overlooked important stories or lacked the depth that makes aviation truly compelling. In 2020, he set out to publish the kind of books he actually wanted to read, ones that explore not just the aircraft, but the people, politics, and moments that shaped them.
He partnered with aviation historian Dr. JP Santiago, whose knowledge of aviation and global history brings depth and perspective, and artist and 3D modeler Gaël Elegoët, whose work brings aircraft to life with striking realism.
Together, they create and promote books built on serious research, detailed schematics, and rare visuals, offering a more complete and human look at aviation for readers who want more than just surface-level storytelling.
